Where She Stands

Priorities for West Melbourne

Our Outdoor Spaces

Protecting the parks, trails, and green space that make West Melbourne a place families want to live — and keeping them from being paved over as the city grows.

Responsible Growth

Growth that fits the community, with stronger environmental stewardship and real protection for the waterways this coast depends on.

Storm Readiness

Investing in disaster and emergency preparedness so families and first responders are ready before hurricane season — not scrambling after it.

The Race

Why It Matters

  • A voice at city hall for every resident of West Melbourne — not just the ones with connections.
  • An Air Force veteran and military spouse bringing service-first leadership to local government.
  • Local-first: green space, growth that fits, protected waterways, and a city ready for the next storm.
The Opportunity

Lacey qualified on July 31 and is on the ballot. Three Council seats are open on November 3, and West Melbourne does not run them one-on-one — every candidate shares the ballot and the top three vote-getters win. That is a real opening for an independent: no party primary to clear, no machine to beat, just residents deciding. Lacey is running on the things people feel day to day — parks and green space, growth that fits the community, protected waterways, and a city prepared for hurricane season.
