ICE is offering $50,000 to new recruits in an aggressive marketing campaign focused on increasing that percentage quickly.
They want to wrap ICE’s broken culture in the aura of veterans. Because they know how powerful veterans can be. Especially right now.
But veterans of all backgrounds understand that ICE is broken. ICE has an expanding culture of lawlessness, unprofessional behavior, and cruelty.
Nearly two-thirds of Americans say ICE has gone too far in immigration crackdowns.
What ICE is doing nationwide is deeply unpopular. Because it’s deeply un-American.
ICE represents the opposite of how we operated and served in the military.
But the government is trying VERY hard to get more veterans to join ICE. Kristi Noem and ICE political leaders are playing on our sense of patriotism, our desire to serve, and our longing to be connected to more of our fellow veterans focused on a single mission. And micro-targeting vets everywhere from radio to social media with millions of dollars in advertising.
The fight for the veterans community of 16 million people is a fight for the soul of America.
And it’s one we want to win.
So today IVA is launching a new national outreach campaign targeting veterans across the country who are looking for a way to serve–without compromising their integrity, their values, and their independence.
We want IVA to be an alternative for millions of men and women nationwide. For those that are being targeted–and for those that just want to push back and defend our Constitution and our fellow Americans.
IVA is a powerful and patriotic network where veterans can be connected to other veterans and serve their country and community and have a positive impact. A place they can fight for reform and a better America–whether they want to run for office or not.
America needs our veterans. IVA needs our veterans. And they need us.
